Ordering
Future brides are encouraged to set up an appointment to order
your wedding cake with us as soon as possible prior to the event.
Shorter times are acceptable for simpler styled cakes. It's
a good idea to plan at least 2 months in advance. Our complimentary
tastings are available by appointment only. Contact
us to set up a private consultation.
Consultation
We work closely, one-on-one, with each client so that each cake
is unique in its conception. You'll peruse our wedding cake
albums and magazines of wedding cake pictures. Bring along photos,
fabric swatches, your invite, theme notes etc., and describe
your ideal dream cake. The more we know about the details regarding
your event, the better the collaboration.
If you’d like to incorporate your wedding color into the
cake, we may match one of our color sample or the material swatch
you bring accordingly. We use a variety of edible accessories
like flowers, berries, ribbons, leaves, fruits, etc to incorporate
your colors and themes. Once all of the elements of your cake
have been finalized, we’d present you with an order form
specifying all of your custom selections. Our goal is to capture
your heart's desire and have your cake reflect the very essence
of your theme.
Cake Tasting
You must taste our cake to believe it! Our cakes are made from
the finest ingredients. Our fillings have a homemade twist and
overflow with mouth-watering flavor. At the consultation, we
offer you and your (up to 3) guests complimentary samples of
cake which vary in flavor and texture.
Pricing, Deposit and Balance date due
Wedding cake is usually priced by the slice, and the range is
from $2.50 to $7.00 per serving. We take into consideration
the number of servings desired, the complexity of the design,
cake flavors and a few supplementary elements. If you desire
dazzling colors, intricate molded shapes, or handmade sugar-flower
detailing, you'll pay for the designer's time and labor. Fondant
icing is commonly more expensive than buttercream or whipped
cream. On average, most of our clients choose designs ranging
from $3.25 to $5.00 per serving. For these prices, you may get
many, if not all of the wonderful things you need to create
an attractive and delicious cake. When we meet, we’d propose
several possible variations, and will positively make every
effort to work within your budget.
To secure your wedding date, we require a 25% deposit when
you order the cake. The remaining 75% balance is due 30 days
prior to your event date. If special equipment rental is required,
the rental charges plus refundable deposits are also due 30
days prior to the event. Rented equipment must be returned
to us, clean and undamaged, by the Wednesday following the
event in order to receive the refundable deposit. We do accept
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Delivery and setup fees
We provide cake delivery within the Los Angeles County
to the reception site, handling and set up service at an affordable
rate, range between $25 to $50. Neighboring Counties (for
example, San Fernando Valley and Orange County) are also serviced
to. We will also set up your wedding cake to display it to
its full potential if you require.
